And the Mayor of Washington D. C. won re-election AFTER a video of him smoking crack in the 80s.
That's a very good point. I lived in DC when Marion Barry made his comeback, but I'd have to argue that D.C. is a special case...a felon can get elected to municipal office, but I just don't think one can win the electoral college...
